On your marks - unmissable events at Goodwood this year

Most of us are familiar with the iconic Festival of Speed, The Revival and the horse-racing highlight that is the Qatar Goodwood Festival, but did you know that there's a huge variety of smaller events taking place throughout the year, some of which are even free to attend?

The Breakfast Club is a free of charge event taking place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit on selected Sundays during spring and summer. You just need to book your free ticket and set your alarm nice and early for a 7am start at the circuit (breakfast is available to purchase, too). Under 18s do not need to register but do need to be accompanied by one adult who has registered. Find out more and book here.

100th Sunday : 5th May

Goodwood's centennial Breakfast Club will welcome the cars, bikes and everything else that has made the Breakfast Club so special. Expect every kind of car, from supermini to supercar, bikes, buses - you name it. No type of vehicle is unwelcome at the 100th Breakfast Club celebrations. 

Super Sunday : 2nd June

The iconic Supercar Sunday gets an upgrade this year as it becomes SUPER Sunday! This is a not-to-be-missed morning for all things at the top end of transport. Supercars, hypercars, superbikes, you’ll see them all. From Ferraris to Ducatis and Koenigseggs to KTMs. 

GRRC Sunday : 23rd June 

This members-only morning celebrates the GRRC (Goodwood Road Racing Club) Members and showcases the eclectic, broad and brilliant collection of cars and bikes that the club has in its possession.  Grab your chance to be there by joining the GRRC - you'll get exclusive benefits across the estate and a year-round calendar of events at Goodwood and beyond, including the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting held at the circuit each spring.

Classic Sunday : 4th August

This is Goodwood's traditional midsummer celebration of all things pre-tax returns for another year featuring cars and bikes that were registered before January 1 1984. As time moves on, this event only gets more and more interesting. We can now welcome cars ranging from the classic line of the Jaguar E-type to working-class heroes like the Renault 5 Turbo.

Cycling at Goodwood Motor Circuit 

You may not know that the Goodwood Motor Circuit plays host to cycling sessions throughout the year. Yes, you can travel the two and a half miles of this famous motor track on two wheels, enjoying the quiet, car free circuit. Perfect for families or groups of friends, and suitable for all abilities. 
A cycling session costs £10 per adult, £5 for 13-17 year olds and childrenunder 12 are free of charge. 13-17-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent/guardian but do not need to be on track cycling. Under-12s must be accompanied on track with a paying parent/guardian.

Goodwoof : 18 & 19 May

Swap your wheels for your four-legged friend at this celebration of all things dog, now in its third year. Expect a dazzling day packed full of everything from world-class competitions from top canine athletes; wellness workshops; talks from key behavioural and veterinary experts; free-of-charge activities that you can take part in with your dog; Field & Trail demonstrations plus treats and plenty of play. This year's celebratory breed is the much-loved Labrador, and for the first time, a celebratory parade with take place on both days, led by the Duke of Richmond and featuring hundreds of Labradors! Family Race Days : 9th June / 23 - 25th August

Experience the thrill of racing as you enjoy a family day out at Goodwood racecourse, where a traditional fairground and entertainers add to the fun, plus live music and a chance to watch the horses burst from their starting stalls. Under 18s go free, adults from £18. Find out more here.
