Restaurants in Chichester and West Sussex

Take your tastebuds to Italy, India, Mexico, France, Thailand, Turkey or Greece, or enjoy traditional fish and chips, vegetarian and vegan dishes or choose an experience showcasing slow food and championing local flavours and ingredients.

Restaurants in Midhurst

If you’re venturing out of the city to the historic market town of Midhurst, you’ll be in for a treat.

The charming town of Midhurst offers a variety of restaurants whether you’re looking for a quiet romantic evening, a celebratory dinner or a treat for the family.

Among the town’s lanes, amid the colourful array of independent shops and boutiques, it’s possible to experience the flavours of the Mediterranean or sample some more local, Sussex fare.

Restaurants in Petworth

Alternatively, if foodie experiences are top of your must-do list, explore the historic market town of Petworth, which is fast gaining a reputation for fabulous food.

You’ll find a traditional butcher, baker and fishmonger here as well as a delicatessen with dedicated cheese room.  For special occasions and celebrations, getting together with friends and family or relaxing Sunday lunches, the E-Street Bar & Grill has a focus on great ingredients cooked simply to a high standard. The kitchen is headed up by a Sussex local with a passion for foraging for local ingredients and producing great food.

Restaurants in Selsey

If seafood is your thing, Selsey is your place to be.

The historic seaside town of Selsey is home to local delicacy, Selsey Crab: a renowned seafood prized both nationally and internationally.

While you can, of course, sample Selsey Crab in restaurants up and down the county, we couldn’t recommend visiting a Selsey restaurant more. Experience the best from the people who made it the best!

Restaurants by the Sea

If you’re looking to dine in style then why not head to Bosham, located close to Chichester and West Wittering, to get a taster of the coast.

Enjoy a meal in the restaurant at the marvellous Millstream Hotel, or make a night of it and combine dinner with an overnight stay. While you’re there, why not enjoy a wander around the coastline, offering some of the best and most picture-perfect views on offer in the country. This is one way to dine in style.
