Overlooking Chichester harbour, our beautiful listed pub can be found near Bosham as well as the picturesque village of Chidham. A former vicarage, it has been painstakingly restored in recent years — the inn is marked on a map of 1875 as Hamstead House.
A rich and impressive history, plus our picturesque surroundings, make for a stunning backdrop that is perfect for savouring each bite of our food or enjoying a drink from our carefully selected range of cask ales and fine wines.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, including our steak & mushroom pie and beer-battered fish and chips, as well as seasonal surprises if you’re after something a little different.
We look forward to welcoming you, and we’ll ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, lager, fine wines, British gin and soft drinks to suit every taste — which will taste all the better when enjoyed in our beautiful and picturesque gardens.
