Don’t leave before visiting the bookshop for a souvenir of a memorable visit, and Pallant Cafe for brunch, lunch or a coffee and pastry.
Day 1 - Lunch
Day 1 - Afternoon
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the canal
You can row your boat for two miles, as far as Donnington, before returning. During the trip you’ll meet the feathered residents of the canal, as swans, ducks, moorhens and coots paddle around you.
The Canal cafe is the perfect pitstop for refreshments afterwards.
Day 2 - Morning & Afternoon
Explore the city and indulge in some retail therapy
Hunt for the street art dotted around the city. Count how many you can find and don’t forget to stop for selfies with your favourites.
Visit The Novium Museum for a snapshot of the city’s history and lots of hands-on family activities, and explore the Cathedral close by.
Top Tip – can you find the Bishops Palace Garden? It’s a great place for a picnic.
