****PLEASE NOTE THAT WEST WITTERING BEACH CAR PARK IS NOW OPERATING AN ONLINE, PREPAID TICKET SYSTEM****

To allow social distancing to be achieved, West Wittering Beach Car Park will be open to a reduced number of cars per day. You MUST book a car park ticket to access the car park. If you arrive without one, you will be turned away and we are asking people not to try to park locally as traffic congestion in these small residential lanes is dangerous and cause access issues for emergency vehicles and pedestrians. To book your ticket, visit http://westwitteringestate.co.uk and follow the links to Just Park.

Please, just to repeat, please do not travel to the beach without a ticket.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, West Wittering Beach is a large and sandy beach located at the entrance to Chichester Harbour. Proud holders of the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness and safety when it is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months, it is a wonderful area for a traditional bucket and spade day out or as a starting point winter walk around East Head. Throughout the day, either to eat in or as a takeaway, the Beach Cafe serves an appetising range of hot and cold food (open weekends only in the winter season). Car Parking is available throughout the year, for information on car park prices please visit our website. During the summer months the beach can become particularly busy so please plan your day accordingly and arrive early to grab that space!
