St Wilfrid’s Hospice is your local community hospice. Our expert teams provide palliative and end of life care to anybody in our community with a life limiting illness.

We support over 325 people at any one time, from our 14 bed ward at the Hospice and our Hospice Community Team visiting local people at home. We receive over 900 referrals each year and serve a catchment area from Emsworth to the west and Arundel to the east, south of the Downs to the coast.

We take time to listen and understand the individual needs and wishes of our patients and their loved ones, to manage symptoms and help them spend more precious time with loved ones. The Living Well Centre offers a variety of therapeutic and social activities to boost wellbeing and enable visitors to live more independently for longer.

We make a difference to local lives by delivering tailored and compassionate care. As an independent local charity, we provide these vital hospice services to our community free of charge. The care costs of the Hospice are paid for in part by an NHS grant, however the majority of our £8.3m annual costs are met thanks to the generous support of supporters, fundraisers and donors.
