A workers’ co-operative established in 2009, Sail Boat Project provide a range of learning activities based around sailing. Based in beautiful Chichester harbour we aim to widen access to the sea, for all. Never been sailing before? Try one of our half day taster sails in the harbour, meet our friendly team and find out more. Every month throughout the sailing season we have three day sailing trips exploring the Solent and some gems on our doorstep. If you want to learn to sail in a more structured way we offer the whole range of RYA practical and online theory courses to open up a world of adventure. If you own your own boat we can provide own boat tuition and then we have a rich variety of longer sailing trips, exploring the south coast, Channel Islands, Brittany as well as Portugal and Spain. You can even charter your own boat, with skipper, and set your the itinerary on your very own sailing staycation!

• No extra charge for sailing waterproofs and boots on courses & trips.
• Good food! All meals and snacks included – vegetarian and vegan food by default as part of our commitment to lowering our company’s carbon footprint
• Onboard libraries of learning resources

We are also involved in sail transport of cargo.
