Mulberry Divers is a SSI Blue Oceans Centre, located in Selsey, West Sussex, committed to help protect our seas and Marine Life in both our daily practices and by providing education about Marine Life. We are an island nation and whilst most of us are aware of our rich maritime history, we tend to be less aware of the amazing variety of Marine Life in our seas.

Selsey Bill and the Hounds is one of the designated Marine Conservation Zones and covers an area including the Mixon Hole. The ecosystems provide home for some amazing life and we have events designed to allow you to find out more.

Join us for a Marine Life Walk, led by a qualified SSI Marine Ecology Instructor who will show you where to find some of the life on our shores and provide you with facts and information about those residents. If you enjoy rock pooling this is a great family activity. Each walk lasts for about 1.5 hours and we visit a variety of sites in Selsey, including Selsey Bill, East Beach near Pagham Harbour, Selsey Lifeboat Station and West Beach. If you come prepared to wade in shallow water, you can see even more! You are welcome to bring a camera to record your walk. Booking in advance is required and numbers are limited.

Want to learn more, we offer a range of ecology programmes that are open to all and do not require you to be in the water.
