Graffham Common is a 94-acre nature reserve between Midhurst and Petworth, located on both sides of the Selham to Graffham road, and is owned and managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
It’s a former pine plantation being restored back to heath and grassland and is a haven for wildlife – look out for nightjars and woodlarks, and at the pond on the Eastern side of the reserve, dragonflies and damselflies.
Graffham Common features in the South Downs National Park’s Heathland Sculpture Trail
