The epitome of elegance, with exquisitely decorated rooms, this charming Georgian mansion provides a stunning location for any occasion and event.
Edes House was built at the end of the 17th century for local maltster John Edes, and his wife Hannah, and now has Grade 1 listed status and has been carefully restored.
The house is situated on West Street in the heart of Chichester and has nine rooms available to hire. It is suitable for most occasions, from intimate wedding ceremonies to concerts for 80 people.
A short stroll from the house you can find Chichester Festival Theatre, Chichester Cathedral and an array of shops and restaurants. A short drive and you are on the wonderful south coast or up in the South Downs at Goodwood.
Dogs and pets are not permitted into the house unless they are assistance dogs.

There’s nothing quite as English as an afternoon tea complete with dainty sandwiches, freshly baked scones and cakes, and a proper cup of tea served in fine bone china.
