Dear Reader,
Eagle-eyed viewers of the recently released second season of the hit Netflix series, Bridgerton may have noticed some familiar locations appearing on their TV screens.
Yes, Petworth House‘s fantastic North Gallery was used as a filming location for episode seven, appearing as an art gallery. You can follow in the Ton’s footsteps with a visit to The North Gallery, a room built by the 2nd Earl of Egremont and further extended by the 3rd Earl to showcase his extensive collection of artworks and sculptures including works by Turner, Flaxman and Blake. Arrival by carriage sporting a regency ballgown is entirely optional.
