With spring and warmer weather just around the corner, West Dean Gardens is offering inspiration to get gardening. For those keen to grow their own vegetables, this is the perfect time to start with a new online live course led by Charles Dowding. This will cover his great tips on how to make growing fruit and vegetables easier and achieving better harvests.
The course runs on Friday 20th February 2021 between 2pm-5:30pm and costs £50.
There are also some shorter online courses available in subjects such as painting, drawing and tapestry weaving. Suitable for all abilities this could be a great time to learn or develop a new skill!

The award-winning gardens has also recently unveiled an enormous bug hotel. Made from recycled materials such as old logs, pallets, bricks and rubble, the gardens is encouraging you to create your very own version of this creation. Not only is this a great way to be environmentally sustainable, it encourages wildlife such as hedgehogs and birds. A great way to be green!
Ticket Prices: West Dean Gardens are currently open for local visitors to access walks from 10.30am to 4pm each day (pre-booking essential), Entry is £7* and Free Entry for Children under 16. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
