Where: Heyshott Village, Midhurst
When: From 7pm on Saturday 9 November 2024
Entry fee: Free of cost, donations welcome
For over 60 years, villagers in Heyshott have celebrated bonfire night the traditional way; with a large bonfire and spectacular display of fireworks. This year will be no different. Follow Heyshott’s renowned torchlight procession starting at Hoyle Lane at 7pm as it ambles through the village to the site of the bonfire. With a hilarious Punch and Judy/entertainment show for all to enjoy, as well as the grand finale firework display, you’ll have a booming good night.
Where: Why wait for an official event when you can observe anyone and everyone’s firework displays from the surrounding area? Head to the top of St Roches Hill (or more commonly known as The Trundle) near Goodwood, for the best views around.
When: We recommend visiting after dark on Tuesday, 5 November, but fireworks are highly likely to be spotted the weekends either side of Bonfire Night too.
Entry Fee: Free of cost
Why watch one firework display when you can see multiple? Offering incredible panoramic views of the countryside and coastal plain, The Trundle is one of the best places in West Sussex to spend Bonfire Night, especially if you’d rather stay away from the busy events. Wrap yourself up warm, bring a chair and hot drink and let someone else do all the work, as you soak up the sight of the illuminated Sussex skies. While we can’t guarantee which firework displays you’ll see - or when - each one will come as a spectacular surprise over the course of the evening.
Where: The Kennels, Goodwood
When: From 6.30pm on Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Tuesday 5 November 2024

For members only, this magical evening of live entertainment at Goodwood Kennels will ensure your Bonfire Night celebrations go off with a bang. Party with the family, get your face painted, toast marshmallows and enjoy warming hot chocolate and mulled wine whilst watching the firework display with a field ticket. Or, make a night of it my adding on a delicious three-course-dinner in the Kennels after.
