BTP started life as a cafe with ethics at its very core, ethics that are as important today as they ever were. Everything we buy is scrutinised to ensure it’s the best choice for us, our customers and the environment.
Many of our suppliers are from the Westcountry, that’s because our spiritual home is Bristol (where we started in 1995 and where our HQ is based), we have worked with most of them for many, many years and they are very much part of the family. Together they produce the amazing ingredients we use every day, and using great ingredients is half of the recipe to making delicious food and drink.
It’s not just food and drink, it also applies to our energy and recycling partners too.
We make our food in each café every day. Not some factory somewhere far away, we cook properly using raw ingredients, that need peeling, chopping and seasoning.
This matters to us, as we buy incredible ingredients that in turn, we make into delicious meals. We have a dedicated team (Anita & Laura) who research and design everything that goes on our menu, spending their days creating delicious new dishes to keep the BTP menu exciting.
With over 120 seats in the cafe, our Chichester cafe has plenty of space. We’re a breastfeeding friendly cafe, and welcome dogs.
