
The Museum is a wonderful place to visit at Easter. From our traditional Easter weekend to family-friendly Easter activities – there’s something for everyone!
The longer days and warmer weather can be enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of our 40-acre site in the South Downs National Park.
EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Try craft activities and play traditional games. You can also see our heavy horses, as well as Southdown lambs, sheep and other traditional farm animals.
EASTER AT THE MUSEUM AND THE EASTER BAKE
Government restrictions permitting, from Good Friday 2 – Easter Monday 5 April 2021 visitors will be able to experience traditional Easter preparations and celebrations, which begin with the traditional Good Friday bake in Winkhurst Tudor kitchen.
Activities vary each daily and can include egg painting, bonnet making and an Easter bonnet parade in the Market Square on Easter Monday.
