Chichester Festival Theatre will be hosting a week of free dementia and family friendly events from 12 – 17 August, as part of the Theatre’s Ageless campaign: a programme of work that provides life-changing experiences for people who might otherwise miss out, and helps to enrich people’s lives with the joy of creative expression, socialising and the treat of seeing a show.
Activities range from a Lullaby Lounge for babies to a seminar about the legal issues we may face as we get older, an Oklahoma!-themed picnic and a Dementia Friends session for local businesses. Nearly all the events are free; voluntary donations to the Ageless campaign are welcome.
